Our honest take, based on the published specs and the real-world trade-offs.
The Logitech G PRO X2 SUPERSTRIKE is a 61g ultra-light wireless mouse aimed at competitive FPS players. It uses magnetic analog switches with adjustable click haptics, so you can tune how the buttons feel, and it supports sub-8K polling for very fast, smooth tracking. At $149.09 it is a premium esports tool, not a casual pick. This is the kind of mouse you buy when response time and weight are the whole point.
61 grams is genuinely light — it makes fast flicks and long sessions less fatiguing. The magnetic analog switches are the headline: they let you adjust actuation and click feel in software, and they resist the double-click wear that plagues mechanical switches. Sub-8K polling reduces input lag to a fraction of a millisecond with a compatible setup, though it needs a fast PC and drains battery faster. It charges over USB-C. The shape is a symmetrical ambidextrous design that works for claw and fingertip grips.
This is for serious competitive players — FPS and esports — who will notice and pay for 61g weight and rapid-trigger switches. It also suits anyone who wants a premium wireless mouse that charges via USB-C and feels built to last. Casual users and palm-grip players should think twice: the flat ambidextrous shape is less comfortable for a full palm grip, and much of the feature set is wasted outside competitive play.
Price is the biggest hurdle — you can get 90% of the performance for half the money. The flat symmetrical shape is love-or-hate: palm-grip users often find it too low. 8K polling is a battery drain and only matters with a high-refresh setup. There are no meaningful RGB zones if you care about lighting. The magnetic switches are durable but not hot-swappable, so a different click feel means software tuning only.
